Take a BIG bow, Stingrays!
Yes, a very BIG and lengthy bow to each other. The Magna Hoedown has just announced a contribution of $50,602.00! to the club. Ann Marie Burlton, Director/Fundraising, informed the club early on January 18 that she had received cheques totalling that figure from Magna, host and organizer of the Hoedown at its head office in Aurora last fall.
“It was all your collective hundreds of hours of volunteer efforts that resulted in this new revenue for the Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club,” Ann Marie said. “Thank you for all your help and willingness to pitch in when asked. You were clearly the leading club in making the Hoedown such a huge success.”
