Kieran Edling off to Philadelphia

Kieran Edling of the Newmarket Stingrays , has accepted a 4 year combined athletic/academic scholarship to La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pa.Â beginning next Fall.

La Salle is a Division 1 school in the Atlantic 10 Conference and is also competitive in the Philadelphia Big 5 (5 Philadelphia area universities which face off against each other- La Salle, Penn, St. Joseph’s, Villanova and Temple.)

Kieran will be studying Political Science with a minor in Business/Economics.Â He will be swimming backstroke and IM.

Kieran started swimming with the Stingrays 7 years ago, when he was 11.
