Olympic Trial Update

Lindsay has awesome swim in the 100 backstroke.

Lindsay Seemann placed 4th on Wednesday night in the 100 backstroke in a blistering
fast time of 1:02.77. She was only 5/100’s of a second out of a third place medal, and
only 27/100’s of a second out of second place.

Here she is at the podium. All swimmers finishing 4-8th in a finals swim were recognized right after the medal presentations.

There is an “A” final for the top 8 swimmers after the morning preliminaries, and a “B” final for the swimmers placing 9-16th after the morning preliminaries.

Here are other performances in the top 16, after the first 2 days of competition:

  1. Brandon Kingston- 16th place, 400 freestyle- 4:05.57
  2. Lindsay Seemann- 10th place, 400 freestyle- 4:19.63
    13th place, 400 IM – 4:58.90
  3. Matthew Swanston- 10th place, 100 backstroke- 58.11
    14th place. 200 freestyle- 1:53.27

There are still 4 days left, and all of our swimmers have their best events yet to come!!
