Beijing Blog – Proud Parents
It is now 11:45 PM here in Beijing. We have had a wild day, with the highlight being Lindsay’s big race. I am sure many of you have either seen the race or seen the results on the Internet. Lindsay experienced a wide array of emotions this week. I am sure when the dust settles and she gets a chance to analyses things she will put it all in perspective and plan her attack for the 2012 games. She had been getting great advice from her coaches and teammates , but I don’t think anyone can prepare you for that first Olympic walk on deck for your first race. She is a gamer, and she will use this experience as big motivation for her upcoming year.
Sue and I are extremely proud of her – our Olympian!!

For race details you can click on picture below or go to the Olympic Site and scroll down to Heat 3 of the 200 backstroke.
We still have a lot planned the next few days.
I will wrap it up with one last entry before we head back.
Thanks to everyone for the messages of good luck and kind words.
Greg & Sue
PS: A special “Den How” to all the folks on Damascus Ct. You have all been great supporters leading up to this special week.
