Parent’s Night Meeting Announced – Sept 24th 7pm
Dear Stingray Families:
Welcome back to what promises to be another exciting season for the Newmarket Stingrays.
The Stingrays 2008-2009 season is off to a flying start! We have grown to a total of 249 swimmers including 41 in Splash, registered with the Club, making us the one of the largest swim clubs in Ontario.
We would like to extend a special welcome to the 35 new families who have joined our Club this season. The Stingrays have a reputation for excellence both in and out of the water. Our Club philosophy is to help each swimmer achieve personal bests in swimming, academics and life skills.
We invite you to get involved with the Club because it is the dedicated families working side by side with talented coaches that make the Stingrays such a great Club for our kids and the #1 competitive swim clubs in York Region!
One of the most common suggestions we heard last year is to split the traditional Coaches Meeting in the fall into two separate meetings.
Parent’s Night Meeting
The first meeting, scheduled for September 24th at the Newmarket Community Centre – Hall #2 at 7 pm (running till 9pm) will be Parent’s Night where new and returning parents can join the Board of Directors to get a general overview of the operation of the club, discuss specifics about the various functions of the club, and ask questions where needed. The following agenda will be followed:

The second set of Coach/Parent Meetings will be held in October.
