Changes in the Board of Directors
Good morning all,
An short update on recent changes in the board. Steve McGowan has regretfully resigned as Treasurer due to time commitments.
He is the owner of a computer business, and has had to invest more time to the business to counter the effects of the ongoing recession. Consequently he has to personally do more for the company, and unfortunately no longer had the time to do the volunteer Treasurer position anymore.
We thank Steve for his years of volunteering to manage the finances of the club on our behalf.
On a related note we have filled the vacancy with Cathy McGill.
Cathy McGill is an associate partner in the Tax Services practice of Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP.
She has more than 15 years experience managing tax, payroll and other financial matters for companies. As for swimming she has two kids swimming with the Stingrays, one in AG4, one in DEV 1. Â My oldest started in Splash in 2004.
Please join me and the rest of the Board in welcoming Cathy to the Board of Directors in the Treasury position.
