Swimming Canada Announcement

* For those of you who don’t know Michael Zoldos – he is a swimmer who attends Stanford University who is now swimming at a international level.  With one of our own swimmers about to attend Stanford, Michael asked the Club if he could represent the Newmarket Stingrays, so that he he will have a familiar coach and teammates, as he is vying for Canadian International Teams.
For our members new to the sport of swimming, this is a common practice at the higher levels of competitive swimming for high performance swimmers to seek to affiliate themselves with prestigous clubs. It is a great honour to have Canadian swimmers at this level want to associate themselves with our club.
