North American Challenge Cup- Gold for Sarah!

The North American Challenge Cup concluded in La Mirada, California on Friday, and Sarah McLean will be coming home with 2 individual medals.  Sarah won the 50 freestyle  for girls 13 & 14 in a time of 27.03.  She also came second in the 100 freestyle in a personal best of 58.08
Sarah also swam the 100 backstroke (8th) in a time of 1:08.98, and  the 200 freestyle (9th) with a 2:10.72.

Sarah McLean, AG2 group, has been named to the National Prospect Team that will race at the North American Challenge Cup Meet which will be held in La Mirada, California from August 5th-7th, 2009.

The meet is a tri- meet between Canada, Mexico, and Southern California.  This is the third annual North American Challenge Cup, with Canada having won the first 2.

Sarah was selected to race in the 13 & 14 age division based on her performances this past short course season.     TEAM LIST
