3 Stingrays selected for Provincial training camp!

3 Newmarket Stingrays swimmers have been selected for the Provincial “Train to Compete” training camp which will be held at McMaster University in Hamilton, on Oct. 2-4th, 2009.
The trainingÂ camp will be run by Ontario’s new Provincial Coach, Dean Boles.

The swimmers were selected based on the sum of FINA points for their 3 highest scoring swims, which had to be comprised of the 400 IM, and two 200 swims.Â Â This was for times done in the 2009 Long Course season.

Only 3 swimmers in the Province were selected in each age category.

Selected to attend from the StingraysÂ are:Â Graham Burlton ( boys born in 1995)Â Â Selin Ozturk ( girls born in 1995), and Jeffrey Swanston (boys born in 1994).
