4 Stingrays named to 2009-2010 National ID Teams!
4 Newmarket Stingray swimmers have been named to 3 different 2009-2010 National Identification Teams.
Sarah McLean has been named to the Prospect National Identification team, which for girls, is for ages 13 & under. ( 14 & under for boys)
Jeffrey Swanston has been named to the Youth National Identification team, which for boys, is for ages 16 & under. ( 15 & under for girls)
Lindsay Seemann and Matthew Swanston have both been named to the Junior National Identification team, which for girl is for ages 17 &under, and for boys, ages 18 & under

2009-2012 National Team Development Program Goal StatementThe stated goal of the National Team Development Program is to provide identified swimmers aged 18 and under, in tandem with their personal coaches, the development opportunities to establish the will, attitude and skills required to race to the podium at the Senior International level.
The success of this program will be measured by the future success of these identified athletes at the Senior International level.
The success of this program will not be based on the number of medals won at the Junior or Youth International Level.
