Limited Space for Swimmers Age 9 and Under
The Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club began more than 30 years ago with 50 swimmers; today we are York Region’s #1 Swim Club and one of the largest Club’s in Ontario with over 200 members. Our swimmers represent the town of Newmarket (and area) at local, regional, provincial, national and international levels throughout the season. Many of our top swimmers began their careers in our Splash (pre-competitive) program. Lindsay Seemann began swimming with the Club as a 6 year old and in 2008 qualified for the Beijing Olympics in the 200 metre backstroke! She continues to swim in our National Senior Group.
We currently have limited space for swimmers, age 9 and under, in our pre-competitive (Splash) and entry -level competitive programs.
If your child has completed Red Cross Swim Kids Level 5 (or has equivalent ability) please contact our office via email for more information and/or to arrange an assessment.
