September/October Swimmers of the Month!
Congratulations to the September/October 2009 Swimmers of the Month:
Â
National Senior/Senior
Matthew Gragtmans
Matthew Gragtmans is the NS &SR swimmer of the month for September/October 2009. At the Richmond Hill meet this October Matthew swam 8 best times in 8 swims. His biggest improvements came in the 100 back where he improved 11 seconds and in the 200 free and the 200 IM where he improved by over 6 seconds in each of them. The two main reasons why he has started the season off so well is, firstly because at workouts he has a positive attitude and is trying hard to improve his technique, and secondly because he has been able to stay relatively healthy.
Congratulations Matthew and keep up the good work.

Development 3
Samara Aabo
The Development 3 swimmer of the month for September/October is Samara Aabo. Samara loves swimming and comes early to every practice with a huge smile on her face. Samara has been trying really hard to have perfect technique. Her technique has improved tremendously because she listens to everything the coaches have to say. She understands that in order to swim fast, in the long run, she must first improve her technique. She stays focused but at the same time enjoys herself at practice. Samara has an amazing attendance record, and brings a water bottle to every practice.
Keep up the great work Samara and good luck this swim season!
