Australia- Lindsay wins 6 individual gold medals!

6th and final Day: Lindsay swam the 200 butterfly, which is not an event she swims very often. In the final she came from behind to win and had a huge drop in her personal best time. Congratulations Lindsay, on a remarkable meet!
Day 5: Lindsay has now swam 5 individual events, and won all 5! On this day, it was the 200 backstroke, in a time of 2:14.82.
Day 4: Lindsay’s gold medal haul continued with her winning the 200 IM in a time of 2:17.14, a personal best.  Lindsay also swam on Canada’s 4 x200 freestyle relay, which finished first.
Day 3: Lindsay won her third  gold medal in as many days, winning the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:02.09
Day 2: Lindsay won the 400 IM in a time of 4:47.09

Day 1: Lindsay won the 400 freestyle in a time of 4:13.93, which is a new Provincial record for 15-17 girls, and also a new Open Provincial record!
2008 Olympian, and member of the National Senior Group, Lindsay Seemann is in Sydney Australia, as part of the Junior National team.
The tour began on Dec. 27th, 2009 with a training camp. The Canadian swimmers will then race at the New South Wales Championships ( ages 13-18)  from Jan. 4th to Jan. 9th. On completion of the meet, the team will stay in Australia and train until they return home on Jan. 16th.
Lindsay was selected to the team from her performances at the Senior National Championships (World Trials) this past July.
