Ontario wins Tri-Meet- 2 gold & 2 silver for Jeffrey
After a gruelling 3 day training camp prior to the meet, Team Ontario squared off against Team Quebec, and Team Atlantic Provinces in a 2 session meet on Saturday afternoon, and Sunday morning.  Team Ontario dominated and won the meet handily.
Jeffrey won 2 individual events, the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke, and finished 2nd in the 100 freestyle, and the 400 IM. He also led off ( backstroke leg) Team Ontario’s winning 4 x 50 medley relay.
Jeffrey Swanston, of the Senior Group, has been selected to the Provincial Team that will represent Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Tri-Meet. Ontario will be racing against Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces from May 5-9th at the University of Toronto.
4 swimmers were selected from each year of birth based on the sum of FINA points in 3 events ( minimum 2 different strokes). Jeffrey was selected based on his 200 backstroke, 400 IM and 200 freestyle swims done in the short course season.
