Jeffrey Swanston makes Jr. Pan Pac & Senior B teams!
16 year old Jeffrey Swanston extended his summer swimming schedule significantly by qualifying for 2 international teams whose rosters were announced at the end of the finals session on Saturday night, in Victoria.
Firstly, Jeffrey will be racing at the Nations Cup, which is a quad meet between Canada, Australia, France, and Brazil, and is being held in Victoria on August 5th and 6th.  This is a Senior National team, and an excellent accomplishment for Jeffrey. Jeffrey qualifed for this team from his 200 backstroke swim.
Joining Jeffrey on the Nations Cup team, is fellow Stingray Michael Zoldos, who qualifed in the 1500 freestyle. Congratulations to Michael!

Nations Cup Aug. 5 & 6th – Live Results and webcast
Jeffrey also qualifed for the Junior Pan Pacific Championships, for swimmers age 18 & under. The team will spend a week training in Vancouver, and then will travel to Kihei, Hawaii for a week of training, and then the meet,which is from Aug.28th- 30th. Jeffrey will finally return home on Aug. 31st.
Jeffrey qualified for this team from his 100 and 200 backstroke swims.
