It is mandatory that all swimmers attend!

The 2010-2011 Swim Season is on the way. With a new year comes new equipment. Every swimmer will be given a $70 credit towards their “Stingray Gear” equipment to be spent on October 2 only… no carry forward credit allowed. Please be sure to take the time to go through your swimmer’s bag to see what is required.  Expect at least 30 min to get geared-up.

Mandatory to have: 

        -A new team swimsuit                                               

       -Team track outfit (AG5 and up)

       -Team t-shirts: 1 red, 1 blue and 1 white

       -Swim cap & water bottle

Please find below the times on Saturday October 2 in the morning that your swimmer is requested to show-up to get GEARED-UP! 

8:00 – 8:45        -   AG3 / AG4

8:45 – 9:30        –   AG5

9:30 – 10:15     -   N.S. & Senior

10:00 – 11:00   -   AG 1 & 2

11:00 – 11:30  -   Dev 3, 2 & 1

*Multi swimmer families are welcome to come at one time.

**Splash kids are more than welcome to come between 8:00 and 11:30 to shop.

*** Payments for gear can be made by Cash, Cheque, Visa or MasterCard.

Stingray Gear

2010-2011

At equipment pick up this year each swimmer will be provided with a team swim suit. Each swimmer will then have $70 to spend that day on Stingray Gear. This $70 will cover the cost of the basic “team kit” for anyone needing it. This $70 will be available to be used that day only and cannot be used on any purchases made from Aquapark at equipment pickup. The credit cannot be carried forward and used later in the season. Any credit not used that day for equipment picked up (or ordered if it is not in stock) will be lost.

There are many unique ways to use this credit to help defer your costs such as:

• Apply it towards an upgraded swim suit (jammer etc)
• Apply it towards the purchase of the team track suit if you have not already purchased one
• Apply it towards hoodies or golf shirts ect.

 

Keep in mind that the usual team dress code will still apply and that it will be the swimmer’s responsibility to replace lost or worn out items. As a reminder the dress code for meets is as follows:

• Team cap if a cap is worn
• Team swim suit
• 1 red, 1 white and 1 blue t-shirt to be worn as directed by the coaches
• Suitable deck footwear
• Team track jacket and pants (AG5 and up)
• Navy track pants or shorts (Development 1-3)

 

**All swimmers in AG5 and up must have a track suit.
