Ontario Swimmer and Coach of the Year Awards!
Lindsay Seemann has been named the Ontario Female Swimmer of the Year!
The award was presented at Swim Ontario’s Annual Awards Banquet which was this past Saturday, September 18th.
Lindsay won the award based on her 800 freestyle at the Summer National Championships in Victoria this past summer. Her time was 8:36.78 and it scored 874 points on the FINA points chart, which was the highest scoring swim by any female swimmer in Ontario for the 2009-2010 season.
Lindsay is now a freshman at the University of Arizona, in Tucson.

Also at the Awards Banquet  Newmarket Stingrays Head Coach, Alan Swanston was awarded the Ontario Coach of the Year award, both in the Senior Girls category, and the 15-17 Girls Category.Â
