Oregon Meet- 5 medals for Stingrays including 2 Gold!
Jeffrey and Selin had some excellent swims and are coming home with 5 medals between them.

Jeffrey also swam the 200 IM (9th place 2:08.19), 50 free( 31st 24.87), 100 free (38th 53.77)

SWIM ONTARIO REPORT WITH PHOTOS
Paul Bergen Jr. International Invitational gets underway on Friday, Dec. 10th and continues through Sunday, Dec. 12th. The meet is featuring some very fast swimmers age 18 & under including the National Youth Teams from Germany and Great Britain, as well as swimmers from the United States and Canada ( including several provincial teams)
Prelims are at 9:00am each day, and finals are at 5:30pm each day. ( Pacific Time)

2 Newmarket Stingrays swimmers have been selected to the Ontario Youth Team which will race at the Paul Bergen Jr. International Invitational. The meet is in Portland, Oregon from December 9-12th, 2010.
Selin Ozturk and Jeffrey Swanston were selected to the team from their long course performances this past summer. Selection was based on the sum of FINA points of 3 separate events, which had to be comprised of at least 2 different strokes.
Also selected as part of the Ontario Team Coaching Staff, is Newmarket Stingrays Head Coach, Alan Swanston.
