$14,500 Raised for 5th Grader Charity Event!
Good morning everyone
Your participation in the "Are you faster than a 5th grader?" event has raised $14 500 for families in need in York Region North!
Thank you so much for enthusiastically embracing the event. A great time was had by all – pictures are now posted at www.newmarketstingrays.org.
All of this money will go directly to the Mayor’s Charities benefitting Canadian Tire Jumpstart. Canadian Tire Jumpstart helps families in need register their children in organized sport and recreation. This gives children the chance to gain confidence, develop self-esteem, learn leadership skills and build fitness. The funds raised from the event will DOUBLE the number of families that can be helped next year!
