Gear Up Day! Saturday Oct 1st

Gear Up Day Details

WHERE: At The Magna Centre in the top floor Multipurpose room outside pool viewing balcony

WHO: EVERYBODY!!!It is mandatory that all swimmers attend!

WHEN: Please come during your swimmers group time to avoid congestion. Allow 30 minutes to do your Gear Up

  • AG3 / AG4-8:-8:45
  • AG5 -8:45 – 9:30
  • AG 1 /AG2-9:30 – 10:15
  • Nat Senior/ Senior-10:15 – 11:00
  • Dev 1, Dev 2 and Splashing Up-11:00 – 11:30 ( Splash welcome between 8am-11:30)

Note: Families with more than one swimmer may pick their best group time

The 2011-2012 Swim Season is on the way. With a new year comes new equipment.

Every swimmer will be given a $70 credit towards their Stingray Gear equipment to be spent on October1  onlyno carry forward credit allowed and amount unspent is not recoverable. PLEASE NOTE: The $70 credit is not accepted for AQUAPARK purchases as her sales table

Please be sure to take the time to go through your swimmers bag to see what is required from the following list

Mandatory to have:

  • New Team swim suit ( 1  suit included in fees)
  • Team Cap if worn
  • 1 red and 1 blue t-shirt to be worn as directed by the coaches (2 red and 2 blue tshirt minimum required for away meet travel)
  •  NEW Team track jacket and pants or shorts (mandatory for all AG5 and above swimmers)
  • Suitable footwear for on deck
  • Navy track pants or shorts (D1,D2 and Splashing up at meets)
  • Water bottle

Additional Equipment Notes:

  • Keep in mind that the usual team dress code will apply and that it will be the swimmers responsibility to replace
  • In addition Nat. Sen- Sen, AG1 and AG2 require: kickboard, pullbouy, fins, paddles
  • AG3 AG4 and AG5 require Kickboard and pullbouy, fins
  • D1 D2  and Splashing up require Kickboard and fins
  • ADDITIONAL credit use ideas: Swim bags, hoodies, hats, golf shirts for parent volunteering, parkas, teddies!

*Payments for gear can be made by Cash, Cheque, Visa or MasterCard.

** If you are unable to make it to Gear-up day on Saturday October 1, please be sure to email me pinkandbluezoo@yahoo.com with your swimmers name & group
