Bingo continues to be the most consistent and important fundraising program for the Newmarket Stingrays. It’s a unique, mutually beneficial opportunity - the club earns vital fundraising revenue, while Bingo workers are compensated for their time.

How It Works

  • Each Stingray family is charged a $120 Bingo commitment fee per swim season.

  • This fee helps cover the cost of staffing Bingo sessions, which are run by the Stingrays Swim Club.

  • Each Bingo session requires two workers, who are paid at the end of their shift.

  • Workers can quickly earn back the Bingo commitment fee — and more!

Compensation

  • Bingo workers earn $60 per session worked.

  • Duties consist of: collecting expired cards, light cleaning, and being welcoming to patrons.

  • We’re always looking for Bingo workers, and you don’t need to commit every week.

  • Shifts are flexible and based on your availability.

Who Can Work Bingo?

  • Anyone over the age of 18 - including family members and friends of Stingrays swimmers is eligible.

  • Mandatory Training: All workers must complete the Charitable Gaming Training Course before their first shift.
