Board Structure Update

In an effort to increase efficiency of our club operations, the Board of Directors has voted and agreed to change our board structure. The result will reduce the number of directors from eleven down to seven. The structure will be as follows:

·       President

·       Secretary

·       Treasurer

·       Operations

·       3 Director at Large assuming responsibilities for communications, marketing, membership, special events, and human resources

The Club By-Laws, which outline the transaction of the business and affairs of our club will be updated to reflect the new board structure and posted to our website in the Docs/Media section before the AGM.

With the smaller board, we will be seeking more volunteers to take on supporting roles, such as coordinating fund raising initiatives, leading gear up day, and community outreach events. The intention is to build broader membership knowledge of the club operations through volunteer roles, and cultivate even more sense of community among our members.

Are you interested in joining the Board for the 2025/26 season? We have three open positions. Directors are elected into a two-year term beginning at the AGM. Members can apply for any director position even if a sitting director is seeking re-election.
