RHAC and SCAR Winter Invitational 

The long course season is officially underway, and it opened on a very positive note for the Stingrays. This past weekend, 90 Stingrays swimmers competed at the RHAC and SCAR Winter Invitational meets, held at the Markham Pan Am Centre and the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

The season-opening competitions were a great success and a strong reflection of the team’s dedication throughout winter training. Stingrays athletes delivered outstanding performances across both venues, earning multiple podium finishes and achieving several new provincial qualifying times.

When comparing results to this same point last season, the overall improvement is clear, with performances significantly surpassing last year’s benchmarks. The energy, focus, and determination displayed throughout the weekend highlighted the team’s continued growth and progress.

With championship season just one month away, the coaching staff and athletes are excited about what lies ahead. Congratulations to all swimmers and coaches on an excellent start to the long course season and on their outstanding achievements this weekend.
