Division 1 Regional Championships The Stingrays delivered an impressive performance at the Division 1 Regional Championships held during the first weekend of February in Etobicoke. RHAC and SCAR Winter Invitational The long course season is officially underway, and it opened on a very positive note for the Stingrays. This past weekend, 90 Stingrays swimmers competed at the RHAC and SCAR Winter Invitational meets, held at the Markham Pan Am Centre and the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Barrie Trojan Cup This past weekend, 74 of our 11-and-under Stingrays travelled to Barrie to compete at the Barrie Trojan Cup, a fun and exciting meet with a unique team-based format. The Trojan Cup is a team competition where every swim counts. Over three days of racing, swimmers earn points for their team, with placements from 1st through 16th scoring as follows: 60-50-42-34-30-22-20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 At the end of the meet, the Trojan Cup is awarded to the top Junior Team (12 and under) and the top Senior Team (13 and over)....

Alan Swanston Classic 2025 Our first hosted meet of the season, the Alan Swanston Classic 2025, was proudly named in honour of Coach Alan Swanston — the driving force behind the incredible success of the Newmarket Stingrays. Newmarket Stingrays at the 2025 Canadian Swimming Trials The 2025 Canadian Swimming Trials, held last week in Victoria, British Columbia, brought together many of the top swimmers in the country. Over six days of competition, 787 athletes representing 148 clubs from nine provinces competed for the chance to represent Canada at several upcoming international events.
