Not one but two Stingrays - Aly Whitmore and Clarke Morrison have made the roster for the NCAA Division II Swimming Team at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia ( the only Canadian university that competes in the American-based NCAA program). Swimming Canada is holding an inaugural online sweepstakes from July 4th-July 28th to raise funds to help swimmers at all levels reach their goals and share in their success on the podiums leading up to, and including, Paris 2024. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on July 28th at 5:00pm ET and includes a meet-and-greet with select FINA star athletes, hotel accommodations for 3 nights, airfare for 2, and VIP tickets to all sessions at the FINA Swimming World Cup 2022 - Toronto. The Stingrays was represented by 9 swimmers this past weekend at OSC. 5 of the swimmers qualified for finals and had a great showing with podium finishes by 2 swimmers - Claire Thorne and Maksym Klakov. The team placed 20th out of 86 teams. Congratulations Swimmers for the great results. #UnleashTheStings.
