2023 Hollandia Spring Invitational Meet The Stingrays had a great weekend in London at the Hollandia Spring Invitational meet. Super fun bus ride and so many exceptional races to cheer for. 2023 Stingrays April LC Invitational Meet Our April LC meet was held at the Markham Pan Am center this past weekend and by all accounts it was great success. One hundred twenty-one Stingray swimmers participated and did a fantastic job accumulating a substantial stack of medals. Canadian Swimming Trials- Otters Spring Classic -Dorado Stars Meet Great racing this weekend for the Stingrays. Our swimmers competed in three different pools in the past week around the province. Our Development groups attended the Dorado Stars meet, while seven of our athletes raced at the Toronto Pan Am Center at the Canadian Swimming Trials. Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated at the Eastern Canadian Swimming Championships. Thirteen of our Stingrays swimmers traveled to Windsor to compete against the best swimmers in Eastern Canada. Eighty-nine clubs attended the championships and our team finished in a respectable 16th position. We had many personal best times, multiple finals, and club record breaking performances. This past weekend’s Pickering Winter Fest saw a number of firsts… and not just in our final results! Most of our Wave Jr. group participated in their very first 100IM and 50Fly in competition. A number of our Dev.’s also tried their first 100Fly at a meet; which made Coach Colette very excited!.
